Partitioning evapotranspiration using water stable isotopes and information from lysimeter experiments

چکیده
Stable isotope techniques can be used to investigate evapotranspiration and its partitioning into evaporation transpiration. However, verification is often difficult due missing information about actual evapotranspiration. Therefore, in this study a methodology tested for laboratory conditions was modified field applications. Evapotranspiration, which determined by weighing lysimeters, were combined with soil water lysimeter measurements calculate transpiration rates of soybean under natural conditions. The case conducted 2019 Groß-Enzersdorf, Austria. results show that the suited measure variations ratios, even during dry periods. Weekly (0.5–2.2 mm d−1) (1.3–4.3 as well respective ratios (transpiration 43–85%) agreed numerical modelling values from literature, confirming applicability portioning field.

Source Partitioning Using Stable Isotopes: Coping with Too Much Variation
BACKGROUND Stable isotope analysis is increasingly being utilised across broad areas of ecology and biology. Key to much of this work is the use of mixing models to estimate the proportion of sources contributing to a mixture such as in diet estimation. METHODOLOGY By accurately reflecting natural variation and uncertainty to generate robust probability estimates of source proportions, the ap...

Introduction Direct measurement of de novo lipogenesis has not previously been possible in humans. We measured de novo hepatic lipogenesis in normal men by means of stable isotopes and by combining the acetylated-xenobiotic probe technique with mass isotopomer analysis of secreted very low density lipoproteinfatty acids (VLDL-FA). Sulfamethoxazole (SMX) was administered with ['3Clacetate during...

We combined a conceptual rainfall-runoff model and input-output relationships of stable isotopes to understand ecohydrological influences on hydrological partitioning in snow-influenced northern catchments. Six sites in Sweden (Krycklan), Canada (Wolf Creek; Baker Creek; Dorset), Scotland (Girnock) and the USA (Dry Creek) span moisture and energy gradients found at high latitudes. A meta-analys...

Evapotranspiration (ETc) partitioning and obtaining of FAO56 dual crop coefficient (Kc) for olive was carried out with the SIMDualKc software application for root zone and topsoil soil water balance based on the dual crop coefficients. A simplified two source-energy balance model (STSEB), based on daily remotely sensed soil and canopy thermal infrared data and retrieval of surface fluxes, also ...
